Funding Incentives

The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has a number of funding incentives.
Please contact Barden Energy to help you find out what you may be entitled to.

Save 70% on heating and 50% on fuel costs from your investment.

Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)

The RHI is a government financial incentive that encourages the transfer from traditional to renewable energy heating systems. Under the scheme businesses receive quarterly payments providing they adhere to the regulations. These payments are guaranteed for the next 20 years.

The scheme has been introduced in two phases:

Launched in 2011, this long-term tariff support targets big heat users in industrial, business and public sectors – currently contributing to 38% of the UK’s carbon emissions.

Spring 2014 saw the second phase of the scheme come into effect. It is aimed specifically at domestic systems, encouraging and supporting homeowners to make the switch.
